Tip for Life*
Assume everyone is being nice to you, and assume they will be nice to you.
So then, if someone is mean to you, you end up interpreting it in a way that it seems much less mean. And you can ask for things, like the right pronouns or good customer service, in a way that you aren’t scared of their reaction.
*And also when random strangers talk to you, I mean seriously.
